I’ve started noticing lines around my face. What can I do for anti-aging treatments?
Age lines and wrinkles are a concern for many women, and we have lots of skin-care solutions for getting rid of them for you. We offer a variety of treatments, including anti-aging facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and the latest micro-peeling treatments such as Dermatude – also known as “the facelift alternative.” Dermatude Meta Therapy combines benefits of several skin rejuvenation methods. It’s the only 100% natural skin improvement method from the inside out, with externally applied active ingredients through special serums. It’s a dual effect against the consequences and causes of skin aging.
What’s the difference between fillers and Botox/Dysport?
Although both are non-invasive procedures used for facial rejuvenation, they’re completely different products with different indications and results.
Botox and Dysport are used for “hyperactive” or dynamic wrinkles caused by excessive facial muscle activity. They won’t work on wrinkles present at rest. Results take 3-5 days to show and are mostly used in the forehead, glabellas and around the corner of the eyes or “crow’s feet.”
Fillers restore volume, improving on wrinkles present even at rest. Mostly used in the midface and lower face, results are immediate. Emphasis nowadays is on restoring youthful facial volume lost over the years. Fillers restore some of the lost volume giving a more round, lifted appearance.
Belotero and Voluma are the newest fillers. Both are modified hyaluronic acids (HA) derived from sugar. Belotero is the softest and most malleable HA filler on the market and can be used very superficially under skin for very fine wrinkles around the mouth and the depression under the eyes known as “tear trough” deformity. Voluma is the thickest HA gel and is used deeper under the skin mostly in the midface/cheek area to instantly add volume.
